What’s Coming in 2011

My next article—to be released within the next 24–36 hours—should be one that will interest those people who are preparing to sit the CPHQ exam but don’t wish to waste their time and money on exam preparatory materials that add little value. I’ll address the issue of sub-optimal products that purport to prepare candidates for the CPHQ exam—this is a disturbing problem that I discovered only recently (I wished I hadn’t!).

In the meantime, here’s a sneak peak at what’s in store for 2011:

  • Introduction to the Teh & Associates approach to preparing for and sitting the CPHQ exam. This is a unique package that will consist of articles, tutorials using our newly-acquired presentation application (see below), videos, etc. This product is being created in response to requests by people who want to accelerate their exam preparation.
  • Skype Chat. From early 2011, we will offer consultations, conduct tutorials, and host discussion groups via Skype.
  • Prezi. We recently acquired Prezi, a web-based presentation application, to enhance our live training. So I decided to give it a whirl at a public talk on how patients can improve their own healthcare yesterday. We were delighted with the results and so was the audience. Another advantage of this application is that it can also be used (very effectively) for online presentations. You can expect to see Prezis on the site in the near future.
